Vijay - AR Murugadoss's combo has outperformed their previous best with their recently released film Kaththi. It is doing wonders at the box-office, both overseas and back home. Kaththi has become the first non-Rajini/Kamal film to gross $500K in the USA and is on its way to join the all-time top 5 grossers there. Endhiran, Vishwaroopam, Sivaji, Dasavatharam and Kochadaiyaan occupy the top five slots in the USA. Kochadaiyaan's $635K gross is also the highest in 2014. Trade sources expect kaththi to beat kochadaiyaan's box-office record by tomorrow in the USA.
Meanwhile, in France, Kaththi has collected more than €95K in four days and outperformed Ajith's Veeram and Rajini's Kohadaiyaan already. Kaththi collection is also the highest this year in Australia with a $160,979. The film's overall collectin stands at apporx. 65 Crores and is expected to touch the prestigious 100 Crore club this week soon.
