Vijay’s Kaththi is doing humongous business at the box office and everyone concerned is quite happy about the film's performance.
Meanwhile a function to celebrate Kaththi’s success was held at a college in Coimbatore where Vijay flagged some welfare activities too.
Speaking at the event, Vijay said that Kaththi is an important film in his career. He elaborated saying that he is quite happy to be associated with a film which spoke about the primary problem of our nation, viz. agriculture and farmers.
“I have heard about the sufferings of farmers but when I was acting in the film, I realized its magnitude and serious implications. Kaththi helped me understand how many farmers committed suicide, how many of them chose a different occupation leaving farming and how many of them left the country. I am very thankful to Murugadoss who helped me understand this”, he detailed.
The event was also attended by A R Murugadoss, music director Anirudh and actor Satish.
