Lingaa's box office prospects look brighter now

To give an added shot in the arm to the box-office prospects of Lingaa,
the film has received the entertainment tax exemption. After it was U rated,
the film became eligible for the exemption and now this news comes as a good
one for distributors and exhibitors associated with the film.

The film's 'gross' collections would now be the same as 'net', and the 'share' for distributors and theaters would not be affected by any tax.

Lingaa has opened today, the 12th December, all over the world and early reviews have been mixed. We have to see how the film holds up after the opening weekend which ought to be packed.
